Maintenant plus d'excuses pour le coup classique du "Ouais mais bon, tu vois quoi, tu comprends, c que..." et ne pas prendre de news. Farewell Party

Zesterday night, as those of you who carefully read the blOoog already know, we had our farewell "Bia Hoi Madness Party"... It deserved its name!

We decided (in french) to "Tout faire peter"! ...We had th right to, as, occupied as we were to organise the departure and negociate here and there, we did not eat much during the day. Actually I ate a Banh Mi and Simon ate... Nothing!

So first, to eat we went at Ut's restaurant... (I mean, the one he works for). We had a mixt salad, cannelloni dello chef and mexican beef fajitas... Not that vietnamese, huh?

Front of the restaurant we met a french guy, more or less settled in Saigon. It was fun to see a white guy speaking good Vietnamese... Good enough to really talk, understand and laugh with the locals... In some way it gave me ideas for the future: now I see it's possible ;-)

Nevertheless, we soon regretted not to have had vietnamese dishes... The bill arrived, and it was costly: 128'000 VND... When I think of the many clients we brought in, just sitting in front, having the dinner and showing signs to other clients we were having good food... Unlike their waiter, the bosses are B@$t@Rd$*

Anyway. We had decided to live large.

And to compensate (forget) with liters of Bia Hoi... Excellent, definitely!

Suddenly, around 1am something really weird happened! Some guys were having a strongue argue. We watched form our table as they were just on the other side of the small road, no more than 10 meters away. At a moment, as the dogs were barking and the people shouting, we heard a glass getting broken.

Then, Linh woke up, ran... to her brother! He was the one hit... and was seriously bleeding. The fight stopped more or less as the perpetrators of this act were running away (actually I heard it was a girl!)

I woke up too. Fortunately I had my backpack with me. Inside my backpack I now always carry a first aid kit... Very useful in this case, as Linh's brother had a 3 centimeter scarf on the top of his head. We provided the first basic gestures.
Before he was carried out to the hospital to get punctured.

I dont know why, but this guy seems to have troubles very often. I remember 3 days ago (or something around) we also saw him being punched in the face... Why? "Some stories..."

Anyway, this incident, despite implicating one of our "team member" did not break completely the farewell mega Bia Hoi Party... but let's say it focused the discussions!
We still managed to have good time. Good enough to keep drinking, laughing and talking until 3h in the morning.

Bia Hoi PowaaAAaa!

When I got back to my hotel, however, they were less convinced of this. I tried to say "last time" to the poor girl that had to wake up every night at 1h, 2h or even 3h to open me the door... She didn't get it I think. She seemed quite sleepy! ;-)

This morning waking up was a pretty difficult task. Mostly because of the serious lack of sleep of the last few days... But I managed it and at 7h30 I was out of the hotel, on my way to wake up the poor-healthy Simon... He did not stand as fit as I comparatively was!

We took the bus at 11h25, after having had a last Cafe sua da with Ut at our favorite place. We shared really good moment there. He gave us two more gifts "to open when you'll be in the bus".

Thank you so much! I hugged him. Shook his hand. ...and got inside the taxi!
I was really, really feeling lots of emotion!

What to say when you have to quit someone that was such a nice person to you? Nothing... Words couldn't describe my feelings. He knew... he was "same-same" ... and not different.
