Article ideas

Below is the letter I wrote to my editor in Thanh Nien... I think it's my last try before I decide to pursue my own objectives, and try to make my own report...

Xin chao,

To be honest I'm a little disapointed as my articles were, basically, refused and I have no instructions for the coming ones.

I would be really glad if you could just precise a bit what you expect from me!
Should my articles be personal account? ...or neutral information?
Do I have to speak about general topics (i.e. bargaining, security) or about specific ones (X pagoda, Y bridge or monument)?

Finally, here are subjects which I found could be interesting (and in my travel guide it's completely outdated or not existing):

1) Humanitarian work (focused on 15th May School in HCM) > explains how and why foreigners involve in such projects.

2) Keeping the contact with family and friends > various ways to communicate from Vietnam.

3) A drop journey: how is created the bottled water

4) Tourists' words: interviews > to outline what tourists like and dislike, what they advise to visit and what to avoid.

Could you, please, quickly tell me what you think of those topics. Are they suiting your needs, or are they going to be rejected? I would like to know your opinion before spending a whole day writing each one of them...

Really waiting for your reply,
Hen gap lai,

Jan-Mathieu Donnier
